Buying a property in Guadalmina, Marbella

 
Guadalmina is a custom built community that stretches from the beach, an area known as Guadalmina Baja, and north across the A7 motorway to the popular Guadalmina Golf course, in the Guadalmina Alta area. Guadalmina is located about 15 minutes drive from Central Marbella and 60km west of Malaga Airport, right next to San Pedro, and 10 minutes to Estepona. 
 
Guadalmina has its own and very unique golf course simply named Guadalmina Golf and is regarded as one of the best courses on the Costa del Sol.  Starting on the mountain side of the A7 motorway, the golf course stretches south towards the beaches of Guadalmina where hole number 9 runs adjacent to the beach and offers simply stunning views!  
 
There are a variety of townhouses and villas for sale in Guadalmina, with very few apartment complexes.  The area is popular amongst families due to its close proximity to four very popular schools; Calpe College, Kings College, Swans Primary School and San Jose.  The Guadalmina Commercial centre provides a range of services including a supermarket, several banks, furniture stores, along with numerous cafes and restaurants.
 
Finding a beachside property for sale in Guadalmina that is walking distance to amenities is almost impossible, meaning living life in this location is extremely difficult without the use of a car.  Day to day living will mean travelling 5 minutes east back into San Pedro or Puerto Banus.
 
The main beachside developments here are Alhambra los Granados, Alhambra del Golf, Hoyo 5, and the wonderful townhouse development of Pueblo Guadalmina.
