Property Management

As a property owner on the southern coast it is very likely you rarely visit your investment property let alone take care of them. This is why Chestertons affinity now offers a full property maintenance service to all our clients. We will perform a monthly visit to your property for a complete check of the interior and exterior of your property. We prepare your property before your arrival and again after your departure. A monthly report will be sent by email to the owners informing them of the status of their property. If you opted for a management package the following are some of the points we shall be looking for when visiting your property: Evidence of damp (and this can cause many problems if not caught very early), condensation, infestation, any water leaks, possible forced entry. We will check that the alarm system is ok, gas/electricity is working ok and that the water is ok. We will air your property; keep toilets, sinks and baths clean and smelling fresh. We can also provide the watering of interior and exterior plants and arrange for the up keep of the swimming pool. Finally we will perform a before and after cleaning and laundry service. If you chose to rent the property with Chestertons affinity, for an additional fee, we can arrange any of the following essential points:

A basic rental pack will be left at the property which can consist of anything you require, but the basics will be: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, orange juice, bread, butter, mineral water, cereal and jam.

We can put together a VIP welcome pack which will include all of the above items along with: a quality bottle of Champagne, chocolates and fresh cut flowers. We will deal with tenant emergencies, for example if someone has lost their keys or has been locked out of the property we provide a 24-hour contact number. An Airport meet and greet service is available allowing us to meet your tenants at the airport and drop them to the property, also explaining the surrounding area. If any works need to be carried out at the property we will arrange for our reliable tradesman to carry out the necessary works.
